Disabled people should live in the community and feel as part of their world. The communities should not discriminate against disabled people. Communities have to respect laws and disabled people, only then will they feel like part of their community. The community should welcome guest speakers to introduce themselves to the audience to hear about their disability experience. The community should hear about their experiences at work, and of places where people have treated them differently; positively and negatively. Students with disabilities are able to complete their education. People with disabilities deserve to live normal lives in the community. A disability is not an excuse because people with disabilities want to blend in with nondisabled people. They need the freedom to get to know others and to live within the community.
People with disabilities have talents and hobbies that they can share with the community. We all have the right to live a normal life and have plans. Disabled people have many opportunities to have a job. A job gives them a chance to be independent and to be in a community where they can interact with others.
